NUMBER ONE IN WINE Varga Winery is the number one winery in Hungary, based on the domestic wine sales. We sell 7 million bottles of wine inland, consisting of 50 different sorts. The most famous and significant Hungarian types can be found in our product portfolio, such as Tokaj wine, Egri Bikavér (Bull's Blood) etc. The winery produces sparkling wine as well. In this market we are the second largest producer. Our total annual sales is 9,4 million bottles including export and both wine and sparkling wine. The Hungarian wine market is very fragmented. There are more than 11 thousand legally operating winery and the total size of the market is about 120 million bottles of wine.

FAMILY COMPANY - DYNAMIC GROWTH Varga Winery is a dynamically developing company, owned by the Varga Family. We started the enterprise in 1993 when we purchased the plant through an open tendering. In the first year the sales nearly reached 400 thousands bottles. Due to the good segmentation and the continuous developments and investments we became last year the market leaders in Hungary.

EXPORT We export both wine and sparkling wine. The main stream tends to Poland and Russia, but we also sell to Western- and other Middle-European countries. We export bulk wine to Germany and Canada. The total volume of export is 2,4 million bottles.
